Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Starfighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Luigiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luigiano avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Starfighter throws a hook but Luigiano blocks it.
Kenny Starfighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luigiano steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Starfighter.
The fighters circle momentarily. Luigiano darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Kenny Starfighter has been cut.
Starfighter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Luigiano throws an overhand right that lands on Starfighter's shoulder, as Starfighter tries to avoid the shot.
Luigiano looks to score with a jab to the body but Starfighter is just out of range.
Luigiano throws a jab when Starfighter was well out of range.
Starfighter misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Luigiano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Starfighter throws a one two combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Starfighter tries to keep at a distance but Luigiano has taken the fight into the clinch.
Starfighter wants to break the clinch but can't.
Luigiano lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Starfighter backwards.
Kenny Starfighter's cut is getting worse.
Luigiano doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Luigiano keeps control of Starfighter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Starfighter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Luigiano has him pressed against the cage.
Starfighter looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Luigiano misses with the head strike.
Starfighter breaks the clinch.
Jab, jab by Starfighter - just one landing.
Luigiano's coach down at Island Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Luigiano's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Luigiano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Starfighter.
Starfighter misses with a few strikes there.
Starfighter jabs Luigiano to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Luigiano looks to score with a jab to the body but Starfighter is just out of range.
Starfighter swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Luigiano counters with a straight right hand.
Luigiano throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Starfighter misses with a body shot.
Starfighter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Luigiano.
The fighters circling - Starfighter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Luigiano scores with a body shot.
Starfighter is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Luigiano uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Starfighter.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Luigiano! But no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Starfighter drops his hands for a split second and Luigiano immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Starfighter face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Luigiano follows up with a right hand that knocks Starfighter into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
