Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hevi Hends! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hends pinned against the cage. Hends gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sanders shoots in for a double leg but Hends sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hends stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hends clinches up against the cage. Sanders wants a takedown.
Hends is trying to drag Sanders to the mat but Sanders just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Sanders is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sanders tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanders wants to get back to striking at distance but Hends won't allow it.
Sanders is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hends is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sanders to the mat. Sanders regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Sanders wants to sweep but no luck. Sanders keeping full guard, as Hends tries to pass. Sanders wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hends manages to pass to side control. Hends is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hends is thwarting Sanders's attempts to control the position. Sanders is looking to improve his position.
Hends wants to pass to mount but Sanders is defending the position. Sanders is trying to get back to full guard. Sanders slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sanders might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sanders is striking but Hends is not phased and passes to half guard. Sanders wants to get back to full guard. Sanders is breathing heavily. Hends passes to side control. Hends advances to full mount. Hends looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Hends with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanders defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hends. Hends blocks Sanders's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Sanders squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Hends looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sanders wants to control but Hends is having none of it. Sanders is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hends working for a guillotine from mount but Sanders is in no mood to give up. Sanders is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hevi Hends dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sanders throws a shot from downtown. Hends moves away and avoids it. Sanders throws an overhand right that lands on Hends's shoulder, as Hends tries to avoid the shot. Nice takedown defense from Hends. No joy for Sanders on that attempt. Sanders shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hends but Hends pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hends closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hends advances to full mount. Hends with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Sanders tries to reverse the position but Hends maintains control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hends working for a guillotine from mount but Sanders is in no mood to give up. Sanders is looking to get to half guard. Sanders is working hard here to advance position. Hends avoids the attempt from Sanders to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hends is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sanders is surviving well by controlling Hends's body position as best he can. Sanders is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Sanders wants to control but Hends is having none of it. Sanders bucks up and throws Hends to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Sanders gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sanders is looking for a triangle here but Hends uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanders tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Hends wants to finish this one by submission but Sanders is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hends. Hends is working for a guillotine from mount but Sanders frees his head quite easily.
Sanders slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hends frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hends working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Sanders bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Sanders postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hevi Hends showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Sanders's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Sanders darts in trying to clinch and Hends counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sanders has his foot on Hends's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hends works his way back into a safe position though. Sanders looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hends looking to pass the guard. Hends pushing down on Sanders's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hends tries to pass to full mount but Sanders defends it. Sanders is looking to get back to full guard here but Hends has managed to pass to side control instead. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders has left one of his arms exposed and Hends doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Sanders screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
