Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ronald Railgun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Victor Mordino! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Railgun looks for a takedown but Mordino sprawls well. Mordino changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Railgun closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Railgun lands in his opponent's guard. Mordino can't keep his opponent in guard - Railgun advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Mordino wants to get back to full guard. Railgun looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mordino wants to control but Railgun is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mordino keeps control of the position for the meantime. Mordino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Railgun. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Railgun wants to pass to mount but Mordino is defending the position. Mordino trying to control here.
Railgun is looking to advance position but Mordino won't allow it. Mordino has his hands clasped together around Railgun's back. He's all about the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Railgun trying to pass the guard but Mordino defending well. Mordino is looking to improve his position.
Mordino has a hand on Railgun's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Railgun takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Railgun jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mordino manages to avoid the submission attempt. Railgun is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mordino knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Mordino wants to control but Railgun postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mordino is looking to reverse the position. Railgun tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Mordino is looking to reverse the position. Railgun tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Railgun has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Railgun is trying to get an arm triangle but Mordino is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Railgun tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Railgun working away. Mordino tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Railgun wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Railgun is trying to get an arm triangle but Mordino is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mordino is looking to regain half guard here but Railgun keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronald Railgun dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Railgun gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mordino to score an easy takedown into full guard. Mordino stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Railgun swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mordino controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Railgun wants to sweep here but Mordino controlling him for the moment. Mordino controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Railgun lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mordino wants to sweep but no luck. Railgun postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mordino is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Railgun, into his guard. Mordino trying to control but Railgun is working from the bottom. Railgun looking for a guillotine here but Mordino defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mordino has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Railgun to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mordino is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Railgun pulls down on the head and he's put Mordino to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ronald Railgun!
