Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RAMPAGE JACKSON (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to clinch up.
Mateus Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? JACKSON is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, JACKSON circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Oooh a lovely combination from JACKSON sends Gracie down but not out. JACKSON dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Mateus Gracie has been cut.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
JACKSON has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gracie!
JACKSON pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
JACKSON really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
JACKSON trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
