Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meguru Takayanagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki comes to the cage accompanied by Baka Survivor. Meguru Takayanagi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takayanagi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Aoki throws a low kick but Takayanagi avoids it.
A countering left hand to the body from Takayanagi misses.
Aoki rushes Takayanagi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Takayanagi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Takayanagi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Aoki takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Takayanagi's coach down at Body Pain_14elite_700$+VM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Takayanagi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Takayanagi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Aoki misses with a straight left.
Aoki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Takayanagi sprawls well initially but Aoki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
