Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, George Camacho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Sue ! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sue closes the distance and clinches. With the fighters up against the cage, Sue throws an elbow but misses. Sue lands a nice uppercut. Sue is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Sue pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Camacho tries to keep at a distance but Sue has taken the fight into the clinch. Sue 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Camacho shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Camacho trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Sue wants to stand up but Camacho is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Camacho controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sue wants to stand but Camacho is controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Camacho rushes Sue and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sue lands a nice shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sue creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Camacho's defenses.
It looks like George Camacho has been cut. Knees to the body from Sue .
Sue gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Sue controlling the action here for a moment.
Sue manages to break the clinch.
Sue tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sue closes the distance and pushes Camacho back into the cage. Camacho just leaning against Sue , taking a breather. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Camacho takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sue landing knees to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sue escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sue tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sue keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Camacho decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sue has one foot on Camacho's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Sue tries to clinch up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Camacho is defended easily by Sue . Camacho is breathing heavily. Sue rushes Camacho and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A knee to the head by Sue .
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Camacho stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Sue is looking to control Camacho's arms but Camacho gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sue has his back to the cage. Camacho tries to break the clinch but Sue is controlling the position. Sue working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Sue breaks the clinch.
Sue gets in close and instigates a clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Sue .
Camacho stalls. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Sue dominated that round. The cut man is working on George Camacho's cut. That's time! Camacho's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sue gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sue manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Camacho takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Camacho is rocked! Sue throws an overhand right that has Camacho reeling! Sue follows up with more punches and Camacho is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jimmy Sue !
