Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between bryce ahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and georges st pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, bryce ahr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, georges st pierre! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ahr scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. st pierre is not content to let ahr control the position. ahr is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, st pierre has escaped the position, nice work there. st pierre tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but ahr wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. ahr trying to control the position but st pierre is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. st pierre is positioning himself to get back to half guard. ahr working the body and head with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. st pierre stops ahr from passing to mount. st pierre is trying to control ahr's posture but ahr avoids it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. ahr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. st pierre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. ahr scoring with punches to the head and body. ahr trying to control but st pierre is working from the bottom. ahr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as st pierre works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. st pierre is adopting a defensive guard. st pierre trying to control the position.
ahr controls from within his opponent's guard. st pierre wants to stand but ahr is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ahr trying to control the position from guard on top but st pierre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. st pierre gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. and ahr counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in st pierre's guard now. st pierre looks gassed! ahr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. ahr stands and steps away. st pierre gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. st pierre clinches up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. ahr wants to get back to striking at distance but st pierre won't allow it.
ahr manages to pull guard.
st pierre controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. ahr keeping moving, preventing st pierre from controlling successfully. ahr is trying to keep st pierre in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
bryce ahr dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
st pierre with a lazy takedown attempt and ahr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. ahr trying to control but st pierre is working from the bottom. st pierre working a defensive guard here.
st pierre being controlled here, momentarily. ahr drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but st pierre manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now ahr has st pierre in his guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. ahr is working an open guard so st pierre takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. st pierre is looking to take this fight into the clinch. ahr scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. st pierre moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. bryce ahr overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. st pierre controls ahr momentarily but ahr frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. st pierre wants to sweep here but ahr controlling him for the moment. ahr has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of st pierre is proving hard to escape from. st pierre keeping moving, preventing ahr from controlling successfully. ahr stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's three minutes gone in the round. ahr throws a head kick but st pierre moves out of range.
ahr clinches with his opponent.
st pierre is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. ahr gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from st pierre.
The is referee keeping an eye on ahr - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
st pierre dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. st pierre keeps control of ahr as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. st pierre leaning his opponent against the cage. st pierre can't break the clinch.
ahr wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but st pierre has him pressed against the cage. ahr tightens his grip and picks st pierre up, before dumping him to the ground. st pierre manages to land in guard. st pierre looking to control.
ahr trying to control but st pierre is working from the bottom. st pierre wants to stand up but ahr is controlling him. ahr wants to control from the top but st pierre keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
bryce ahr dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

ahr feints and as st pierre raises his hands in defense, ahr changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. ahr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. st pierre swivels though and keeps the full guard. st pierre wants to sweep but no luck. ahr trying to control but st pierre is working from the bottom. st pierre tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are breathing heavily. ahr sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. ahr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. ahr stands and throws st pierre's legs to the side, diving into side control. st pierre struggling a bit here. ahr decides to stand up, so the ref orders st pierre to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. st pierre tries to grapple but his opponent circles and ahr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for st pierre! ahr unloading with bombs! st pierre is trying desperately to improve position. st pierre avoids a series of strikes thrown by ahr.
st pierre is looking to improve his position but ahr isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. st pierre wants to try and get back to his feet. st pierre working to try and regain half guard.
st pierre is trying to reverse the position but instead ahr has taken his back - oops! georges st pierre has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! ahr has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for st pierre. st pierre manages to reverse the position and now he's in ahr's guard. Nice work there by st pierre.
st pierre is pushing down on ahr's leg trying to pass to half guard. ahr is fighting to maintain full guard but st pierre has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. st pierre misses with a head shot. ahr uses the momentum to regain guard. ahr looking to sweep here. No luck so far. st pierre wants to control from the top but ahr keeps moving. ahr looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that's the end of the fight! bryce ahr showed his dominance in that final round. Well ahr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
