Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonqw Fray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Police Officer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Police Officer will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonqw Fray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Police Officer! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Officer tries to clinch up but Fray circles away and keeps his distance. Officer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Officer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fray works Officer's body with a nice hook. Fray shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Officer's guard. Officer working for a triangle but Fray defends it easily.
Officer trying to keep a closed guard but Fray is proving a slippery customer.
Fray stands up over Officer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fray is looking to work some ground and pound but Officer has wrist control. Officer looking for a guillotine here but Fray defends easily.
Fray might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Officer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fray looking to pass the guard. Officer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fray is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Officer managing to control the position. Fray chips away with some ground and pound. Fray engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fray throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fray throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Officer works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fray avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fray trying to control but Officer is working from the bottom. Officer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Officer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fray gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fray trying to control the position from guard on top but Officer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fray slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Officer is looking for a sweep. Fray is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Officer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Officer is looking to reverse the position. Officer struggling a bit here. Officer is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Officer taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fray is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Officer has escaped the position, nice work there. Fray landing strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Officer manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Officer felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Fray working Officer over with strikes. Fray wants to lay and pray for a moment but Officer keeps working. Officer is looking to improve his position.
Fray throwing shots but Officer is blocking nicely. Fray is working for a kimura but Officer is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Officer is trying to control but Fray manages to pass to mount!

Officer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Officer tries to stand but Fray is controlling from the bottom. Fray is looking for a triangle but Officer pushes his legs off easily.

Officer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fray is trying to control Officer's posture but Officer avoids it. Fray is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Officer can do to turn this around?

Officer tries to move to mount but Fray blocks the move with his legs. Fray is looking to reverse the position. Officer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fray is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fray gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Officer slows the pace down in half guard. Officer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fray knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Fray looking for submissions off his back. Officer is looking for a kimura here.
Fray makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fray.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fray keeping full guard, as Officer tries to pass. Officer forces his way into half guard. Officer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fray wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Police Officer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Good exchange - Fray coming out on top. Officer gets a clinch. Fray looking for a takedown. Fray is defending well against a takedown attempt. Officer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Officer prevents the takedown attempt.

Fray winds up and cracks Officer with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fray slips a nice elbow through Officer's hands, connecting with Officer's forehead. Fray wants to control but Officer is keeping him busy. Officer is looking for a sweep. Fray is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Officer gets full guard. Fray passes Officer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fray is keen to just control but Officer is a slippery customer. Fray working over Officer with some ground and pound. Officer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Fray seems to be looking for submissions.

Jonqw Fray overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fray connects with a couple of short punches. Fray tries to free his leg and advance position but Officer is retaining full guard. Fray is in close to Officer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Fray content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fray working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Officer's head. Fray scoring with some ground and pound. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fray manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Officer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Officer looking for a sweep. Not yet Officer, not yet. Fray with a nice head shot there. Fray trying to control but Officer is working from the bottom. Officer is trying to control the position but Fray postures up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fray lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Fray tries to free his leg and advance position but Officer is retaining full guard. Fray is working Officer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Officer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fray is aware though and is defending well.
