Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between chuck liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Lilja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lilja is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: UK subs - Warhead. Jonathan Lilja is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jonathan Lilja!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Lilja looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
liddell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
liddell closes the distance looking to clinch
and Lilja counters with an outside leg kick.
Lilja misses with a head kick.
Lilja throws the kick towards the body but liddell avoids it.
Lilja thows a body kick. liddell tries to catch it but that hurt him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lilja looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lilja lands the left hand.
Lilja misses with a double jab
and liddell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Lilja misses with an attempted mid kick.
liddell blocks the body kick.
Lilja moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
liddell is breathing heavily.
Lilja lands with an overhand left.
Lilja looks to land a body kick but liddell moved away.
liddell ducks straight into an uppercut from Lilja and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - liddell maanges to regain guard straight away.
liddell is rocked!

Lilja is stalling in the full guard.
Oh liddell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
liddell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
liddell seems to have got his legs back now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jonathan Lilja just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lilja throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jonathan Lilja is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lilja closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops liddell! Lilja dives in looking to finish! liddell is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
