Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tagir Dakhadaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Carter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tagir Dakhadaev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, John Carter! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dakhadaev scores with a takedown into Carter's guard. Carter scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Dakhadaev trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Carter lands a decent punch to the body there. Dakhadaev postures up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dakhadaev's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dakhadaev postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Carter is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Carter looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Carter sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dakhadaev defending well though. Dakhadaev wants to control but Carter is keeping busy and won't allow it. Carter takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Carter tries to pass to full mount but Dakhadaev defends it. Carter thows a huge punch but Dakhadaev dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dakhadaev is trying to maintain the position but Carter is very close to passing his half guard. Carter drops an elbow to the side of Dakhadaev's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carter working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Carter looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Dakhadaev is trying to maintain the position but Carter is very close to passing his half guard. Dakhadaev wants to sweep but Carter has passed to side control! Dakhadaev prevents Carter from improving position. A control attempt from Dakhadaev but he's now mounted!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dakhadaev is looking to improve his position but Carter isn't that keen on the idea. Carter working away from the top, dropping strikes.
It looks like Tagir Dakhadaev has been cut. Carter is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Tagir Dakhadaev's cut is getting worse. Carter is landing with some decent strikes but Dakhadaev is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Tagir Dakhadaev's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tagir Dakhadaev's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). John Carter!
