Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Westwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and christoph gale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Westwood comes to the cage accompanied by Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gale moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like christoph gale has been cut.
Westwood misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chuck Westwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
gale blocks a jab.

Westwood takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Westwood moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! gale goes down! Can Westwood finish him!?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
gale trying to keep a closed guard but Westwood is proving a slippery customer.
Westwood stands up and waves to gale to follow him.
Westwood sends gale crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Westwood is motioning to the referee to let gale up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

gale tries to clinch but Westwood is having none of it.
No joy there for Westwood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Westwood swats away the attempt to clinch by gale.
gale tries to close the distance and clinch but Westwood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Westwood ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Westwood misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from gale.

Westwood drops his shoulder and cracks gale with a huge uppercut! gale goes down! Can Westwood finish him?

Westwood trying to control but gale is working from the bottom.

gale can't keep his opponent in guard - Westwood advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
gale seems to have recovered his senses.
gale is refusing to be controlled, as Westwood sits in half guard.
gale blocking the ground and pound attempt from Westwood.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Westwood moves nicely into side control.
Westwood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. gale knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Westwood advances to full mount.
gale looks gassed!

Westwood is landing with some decent strikes but gale is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Westwood really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Westwood is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. gale can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Westwood connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Westwood moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, gale has worked his arm free - good work by gale!

Westwood working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
gale is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Westwood asserts his dominance and retains side control.
