Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arjen Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeShawn Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem comes into the arena with Switchblade Smiles blaring out of the sound system. Johnson has chosen Eazy e- real mother fuckin gs as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem throws the kick towards the body but Johnson avoids it.
Johnson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Johnson scores with a one two! Overeem had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Arjen Overeem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overeem throws a series of strikes that have Johnson backpedaling.
It looks like DeShawn Johnson has been cut.
Johnson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Overeem.

Johnson throws a lazy right hand but Overeem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Overeem's shoulder, as Overeem tries to avoid the shot.
Overeem misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Johnson cracks Overeem with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Johnson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Overeem to stand back up!
Johnson lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Overeem head around and knocks him out cold! Johnson hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
