And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roogeri Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a head kick.

Gracie tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Avers manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gracie's best efforts.
Avers moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Avers is keeping the position.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Avers lands a really nice looking cross but Gracie seems unphased.
Avers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gracie is fending him off so far but Avers persists. Nope, Gracie circles away and we're back to standing.
