Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maarten Dijkhuizen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caside Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dijkhuizen comes to the cage accompanied by Het Land Van. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maarten Dijkhuizen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caside Turner ! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dijkhuizen misses with a lunging right hand
and Turner holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Dijkhuizen tries to break the clinch but Turner is controlling the position. A knee to the head by Turner .
It looks like Maarten Dijkhuizen has been cut. Dijkhuizen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Turner digs a right hand underneath Dijkhuizen's ribcage. Dijkhuizen let out a lung full of air as it connected. Turner 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dijkhuizen looks to land a combination but Turner avoids it well. Dijkhuizen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Turner avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Dijkhuizen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Turner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dijkhuizen avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turner slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A punch combination from Dijkhuizen misses. Turner appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dijkhuizen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Turner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Turner slips under a jab from Dijkhuizen. Turner drives through and clinches with Dijkhuizen against the cage.
Turner presses Dijkhuizen against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Turner breaks the clinch.
Dijkhuizen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Turner connects with a nice looking jab.
Turner throws a series of punches but Dijkhuizen moves out of range. Dijkhuizen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Turner .

and Turner counters by clinching up. Turner breaks the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dijkhuizen misses with a double jab
and Turner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Turner . Turner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Dijkhuizen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Turner gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dijkhuizen can't break the clinch.
Turner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Turner throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Dijkhuizen tries to break free but Turner pushes him back against the cage. Dijkhuizen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Turner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dijkhuizen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Turner gets a clinch. Turner has Dijkhuizen pressed against the cage, preventing Dijkhuizen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Turner lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Dijkhuizen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner breaks the clinch.
Maarten Dijkhuizen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turner has taken the fight to the clinch.
Turner manages to break the clinch.
Dijkhuizen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Turner gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dijkhuizen tries to break free but Turner pushes him back against the cage. Dijkhuizen wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Turner displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Dijkhuizen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Turner gets in close and instigates a clinch. Turner has Dijkhuizen pressed against the cage, preventing Dijkhuizen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Turner lands with a right to the head.
Dijkhuizen is rocked! Turner jerks Dijkhuizen's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Dijkhuizen drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Turner goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Turner because Dijkhuizen was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Caside Turner !
