Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo shoots in for a double leg but Griffin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Griffin forces Aldo back against the cage and clinches.
Griffin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Aldo up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Griffin lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Aldo is breathing heavily.
Still in the clinch, Griffin scores with a nice short uppercut.


Aldo is rocked!
Griffin lands an elbow inside that Aldo shrugs off.
Oh Aldo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Griffin pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Aldo! Griffin unloads with more strikes and Aldo sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
