The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wild showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rakotonandrasana.
Sloppy strikes from Rakotonandrasana. Those never looked like landing. Rakotonandrasana has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Wild lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Alexein Rakotonandrasana has been cut. Rakotonandrasana should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Rakotonandrasana throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wild. Wild throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A punch combination from Rakotonandrasana misses. Wild looking to score a takedown here. Rakotonandrasana is defending well but Wild drives through and ends up in Rakotonandrasana's guard. Wild has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Wild is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rakotonandrasana has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wild is looking to defend but Rakotonandrasana has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wild! Rakotonandrasana pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wild taps out and this one is all over!
