Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pretty Boy Amirkhani! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amirkhani misses with a body shot.
Mendez shoots for a double leg takedown but Amirkhani sprawls well. He's pushed Mendez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice sprawl there from Amirkhani as Mendez shoots in. Amirkhani lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Mendez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Amirkhani throws an overhand right that lands on Mendez's shoulder, as Mendez tries to avoid the shot. Mendez attempts a counter takedown but Amirkhani avoids it well and moves away. Amirkhani throws a big shot that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mendez slips under a jab. Mendez tries to counter with a takedown but Amirkhani is quick to defend against it. Pretty Boy Amirkhani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Amirkhani throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mendez fails with the takedown and Amirkhani counters with a right hand to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raul Mendez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendez has his takedown stuffed and Amirkhani counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mendez shoots in looking for a takedown but Amirkhani manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mendez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Amirkhani looks to land a left hand but Mendez moved out of range nicely. Mendez changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Amirkhani thuds a left hand into Mendez's body. Amirkhani throws a shot from downtown. Mendez moves away and avoids it. Mendez tries to counter with a takedown but Amirkhani is quick to defend against it. Mendez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Amirkhani. Pretty Boy Amirkhani is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mendez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Amirkhani. Mendez changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Mendez avoids the body shot from Amirkhani.
A looping hook to the body misses from Amirkhani. Mendez does a little dance to reset his feet. Amirkhani misses with a looping right. Mendez feinted with a counter takedown. A lazy left from Amirkhani finds it's target. Mendez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Raul Mendez has been cut. Amirkhani misses with an uppercut. Nice takedown defense from Amirkhani. No joy for Mendez on that attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mendez.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mendez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Amirkhani connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mendez scrambles back to his feet. Amirkhani misses with a looping left. Amirkhani lands a nice hook to Mendez's body. Mendez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Amirkhani throws a body shot but no joy. Mendez appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Mendez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amirkhani sprawls well. Amirkhani wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mendez gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Amirkhani cracks Mendez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Amirkhani has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mendez to stand back up!
Mendez is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Amirkhani throws a pinpoint strike between Mendez's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Mendez crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Amirkhani scores a great knockout victory!
