These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manpipe takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Manpipe misses with a left hand
and The Dane counters with a straight right hand.
The Dane looks to score with a jab to the body but Manpipe is just out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Manpipe! But no joy.
Manpipe drops his hands momentarily and The Dane takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A big right from Manpipe misses.
Manpipe throws an overhand right that lands on The Dane's shoulder, as The Dane tries to avoid the shot.
Manpipe misses with an uppercut
and The Dane counters with a three punch combo that has Manpipe backing up. Manpipe nods at The Dane to acknowledge the strikes.
Manpipe fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Manpipe connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The Dane misses with an uppercut. Manpipe saw that one coming.
Manpipe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and The Dane counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Manpipe thinking.
The Dane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Manpipe momentarily.
Manpipe is rocked!
Manpipe lands a slapping body shot.
Manpipe tries to bum rush The Dane with a series of wild strikes but The Dane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The Dane moves out of range as Manpipe strikes.
The Dane feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Manpipe collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Holger The Dane!
A relieved looking Holger The Dane thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
