Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Joey James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konor McSmitty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konor McSmitty will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Konor McSmitty!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with a two punch combination.
McSmitty throws a looping overhand right but James ducks down to avoid it.
McSmitty lands with a nice combination. James backs away looking to recover.
McSmitty takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
James takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
James displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McSmitty throws out the jab.
The crowd cheers as James lands an impressive looking overhand right. McSmitty doesn't seem phased though.
McSmitty is rocked!
James showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McSmitty.
McSmitty is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him?
McSmitty tries to clinch up but James circles away and keeps his distance.
A combination from McSmitty does no damage.
McSmitty backs away from a small jab... but James lunges forward with a huge superman punch! McSmitty crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! James with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Joey James!
