Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Arron Keller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rakim Jackson! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keller lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Keller gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch. Keller is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jackson is defending well. Keller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Keller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jackson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Jackson is looking to advance position but Keller has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Jackson sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Jackson is looking to control Keller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jackson avoid being mounted? Keller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jackson wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson looking for a kimura from the bottom but Keller passes into side control! Keller wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Jackson is trying to improve his position. Jackson regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson wants to control but Keller is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson actively working from the bottom here. Jackson wants to get back to full guard but Keller has mounted him! Jackson is trying desperately to improve position. Jackson is trying to stand. Jackson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Keller working for a triangle but Jackson defends it easily.

No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Keller's legs - danger averted. Jackson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jackson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jackson is pushing down on Keller's leg trying to pass to half guard. Keller is fighting to maintain full guard but Jackson has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nice strikes from Jackson there. Jackson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jackson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Keller has wrist control. Keller looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jackson has picked Keller up and slammed him! Keller can't keep hold of the triangle and Jackson manages to pass to side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rakim Jackson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Keller throws a series of punches but Jackson avoids them all with ease. Keller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jackson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Jackson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jackson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. No luck with that takedown attempt from Keller. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground. Jackson wants to control the pace but Keller is squirming around nicely. Jackson looking for a guillotine from mount but Keller is having none of it. Jackson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Keller manages to avoid the submission attempt. Jackson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Keller tries to improve position but can't.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Keller, who protects the arm well. Jackson trying to control the action but Keller is working from the bottom. Keller on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Jackson decides to stand back up. Jackson steps back and let's Keller get back to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Keller. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rakim Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Keller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Keller scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Jackson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Keller! Keller sneaks out the side door and pushes Jackson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Jackson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson advances nicely into full mount. Jackson controlling his opponent. Jackson is continuing to stall. Jackson wants to control the pace but Keller is squirming around nicely.

Jackson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Keller is surviving well by controlling Jackson's body position as best he can. Jackson prevents Keller from getting the reversal. Keller throwing hammer fists to the chest of Jackson. What's that going to do exactly? Jackson fails to move to back control. Jackson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Keller is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Keller and Jackson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller stops Jackson from passing to mount. Jackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jackson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Keller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jackson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jackson trying to control the position but Keller is working away. Keller tries to improve position but can't.
