Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hipolito Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramierez Ramierez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Hipolito Battle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ramierez Ramierez! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ron Honeybunn and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Ramierez. Battle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Battle takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ramierez keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Battle stands up out of the half guard. Battle really is a fat lump. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramierez with a lazy takedown attempt and Battle counters into the clinch. Nicely done. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramierez blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Battle is trying to break the clinch but Ramierez has him pressed against the cage. Ramierez is trying to pull guard but Battle turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Hipolito Battle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramierez Ramierez. Battle pushes off an throws an elbow but Ramierez leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Battle - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Ramierez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Battle after a bit of a struggle. Ramierez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ramierez is trying to pull guard but Battle turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Battle using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Ramierez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Battle slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ramierez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Battle wants to control from the top but Ramierez keeps moving. Battle's corner is telling him to maintain position. Ramierez looking to control but Battle passes into half guard.
Ramierez wants to get back to full guard. Battle looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramierez wants to improve his position but Battle is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ramierez gets full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ramierez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ramierez pulls Battle in close to prevent any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ramierez wants to hit a switch here but Battle passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ramierez there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hipolito Battle dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ramierez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Battle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Battle is wriggling around but Ramierez manages to pass to half guard.

Ramierez seems to be working for a kimura but Battle defends the submission attempt. Battle is defending against the submission attempts here by Ramierez.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramierez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Battle keeps working. Ramierez moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Battle. Ramierez working away. Battle tries to buck Ramierez off but Ramierez is having none of it. Ramierez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Battle keeps working. Ramierez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Battle haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Ramierez working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Battle is looking to regain half guard here but Ramierez keeps moving and retains side control. Battle is trying to control Ramierez's posture but Ramierez avoids it. Battle is trying to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ramierez is looking to take a break and control but Battle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Battle throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Ramierez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ramierez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ramierez Ramierez has got the better of the ground game so far. Ramierez controlling the position from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramierez has knee on belly and moves into mount. Ramierez working the ground and pound effectively.
Ramierez working for a guillotine from mount but Battle is in no mood to give up. Battle is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Battle really wants to buck Ramierez off and get back to his feet. Battle taking shots to the head. Battle tries to lock up and control but Ramierez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Battle is trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Battle has left one of his arms exposed and Ramierez doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Battle screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
