Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xabilonso Alonso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alonso comes to the cage accompanied by Die Motherfker Die. Xabilonso Alonso had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Xabilonso Alonso looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alonso closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Velasquez did well to prevent Alonso getting side control.
Velasquez scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Alonso manages to mount him!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Velasquez can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Velasquez looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Alonso can't hide his disappointment, as Velasquez celebrates the victory.
