Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Angel Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Angel Swanson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyler Cage! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cage lands a slapping body shot.
Swanson throws a head kick that misses. Cage has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Swanson is landing a low percentage of strikes. Swanson avoids the body shot from Cage.
Swanson slips under a jab. Swanson looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Swanson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cage under the eye. Cage looks to throw the jab but Swanson is out of range. Cage ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Swanson slips a jab and a cross from Cage.
Cage doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Swanson takes a swing at Cage's ribcage but misses. Swanson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Swanson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Swanson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Angel Swanson has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cage throws a big shot that misses. Cage throws a combination that misses and Swanson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cage is lucky that one didn't land flush. Angel Swanson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cage swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A quick step to the side and Swanson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. A looping hook to the body misses from Cage. Swanson does a little dance to reset his feet. Swanson looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Swanson throws a sloppy head kick and Cage moves out of range easily. Cage shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Swanson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Cage tries to free his leg and advance position but Swanson is retaining full guard. Swanson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cage sitting in guard, not really doing much. Swanson wants to control position but Cage is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Swanson here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Tyler Cage! Tyler Cage decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
