Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerry Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guido Gloom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the cage accompanied by Alternative Ulster - SLF. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gerry Kelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Guido Gloom! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Kelly throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gloom's coach down at ~T~ Troid - Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gloom's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A big left from Gloom misses. Kelly throws a hook but Gloom blocks it. Gloom changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kelly has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kelly throws a half hearted mid kick. Kelly pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kelly drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gloom wants to sweep here but Kelly controlling him for the moment. Gloom utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gloom is looking for a triangle but Kelly pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gloom controls Kelly momentarily but Kelly frees himself. Gloom manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kelly manages to get himself to full guard.

Kelly looks to land a strike but Gloom avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Gloom is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kelly is aware though and is defending well. Gloom is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kelly scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gloom is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kelly with a nice head shot there. Kelly working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Kelly is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kelly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kelly is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gloom can do to turn this around? Kelly trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Kelly trying to control the position but Gloom manages to sink in the hooks. Gloom has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kelly has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Gloom is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gloom tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kelly knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Gloom is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kelly wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Nice strikes from Gloom there. Kelly looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kelly has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Gloom is on him like a limpet, forcing Kelly back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Kelly. Kelly lands a nice uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kelly tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Gloom gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kelly looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gloom is looking to improve his position.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kelly looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gloom can't hide his disappointment, as Kelly celebrates the victory.
