The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson throws a right hand that Lara ducks under and follows up with a left that Lara also avoids with ease.
Henderson wants to slow Lara down by chopping away at his legs.
Henderson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Henderson throws a series of punches but Lara moves out of range.

Lara wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Lara tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lara has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lara throws a strike aimed at the side of Henderson's head but Henderson avoids it well.

Lara cracks Henderson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Henderson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lara asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Lara creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Henderson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Lara remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Henderson is not content to let Lara control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lara postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Henderson tries to bench press Lara off him but Lara keeps the position.
Lara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Henderson is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Lara working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
We've been informed that Henderson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Lara thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lara scores with a couple of short elbows.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lara throws a strike aimed at the side of Henderson's head but Henderson avoids it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seymour Lara dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Henderson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Henderson throws a lazy right hand but Lara sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lara tries to score a power double leg takedown but Henderson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lara somewhat.
Lara shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Henderson pinned against the cage. Henderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A big left from Henderson misses.
Lara seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Henderson throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Lara colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Henderson as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Lara is left battered and dazed whilst Henderson and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donovan Henderson!
