The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fungus counters with a stiff right hand.
A swing and a miss from Fungus.
Fungus lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Carter at a distance.
Fungus circles away from the clinch attempt
and Fungus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fungus throws out the jab.
As Fungus tries to get set, Carter tries to push him back and clinch up but Fungus manages to avoid the attempt.
Carter looks to clinch
and Fungus counters with a stiff right hand.
Fungus scores with a nice head shot.
Fungus has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fungus has closed the distance and engaged Carter in a clinch.
Fungus avoiding damage.
Carter is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Fungus lands a hook that snaps the head of Carter backwards.

It looks like Ethan Carter has been cut.

Fungus lands a big right hand that drops Carter! The killer instinct kicks in and Fungus finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Fungus!
