Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods stuffs the takedown. Woods throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice sprawl there from Woods as Adama shoots in. Adama closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Woods to the mat! Woods manages to get full guard. Adama is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Woods is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Adama postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Woods is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Adama, into his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Woods stands up from Adama's guard - Woods perhaps looking for a knockout. That's one minute gone in the round. Woods lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Adama circles away quickly and effectively. David Woods is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Adama moves into the clinch. Woods breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Woods rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adama moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Adama changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Woods tries to avoid it but Adama manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Woods to the ground. Woods escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. David Woods has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Adama. No luck for Adama with that takedown attempt. Adama gets a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Adama. Adama pulls Woods into guard.
Adama had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Woods is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Adama Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Woods's back instead. Adama patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Adama looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woods looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adama is persistently looking for the submission but Woods is defending it well.
Adama is looking for a choke. Woods gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Woods manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Woods wants to get up but he can't break Adama's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Woods has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Adama looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Adama has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Woods can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adama wants to sweep but no luck. Adama working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Woods has passed into half guard!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Some wild striking there from Woods.
Woods closes the distance and lands a one-two. Woods sizes up Adama with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Adama fails with the takedown. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Woods lands with a nice combination. Adama backs away looking to recover.
It looks like William Adama has been cut. Nice sprawl there from Woods as Adama shoots in. Woods scores with a jab to the head.

David Woods dominated that round. The cut man is working on William Adama's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Adama shoots in for a takedown but Woods shows good takedown defense. Woods rushes Adama with punches - Adama moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Adama goes down! Woods follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Woods!
