The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Cha looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Cha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No joy there for Cha, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cha takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Cha closes the distance and clinches.

Cha pushes Martinez back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Cha keeps control of Martinez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Cha gets through Martinez's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Cha lands with a big right hook that stumbles Martinez - he's out on his feet here! Cha follows up with another monster hook that separates Martinez from consciousness! Martinez falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Cha stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tae Shik Cha!
After the fight, Tae Shik Cha was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
