Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Golden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Golden has chosen Kongos- Come with me now as his entrance music. Corwin Anstey is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Trey Golden! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Golden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Anstey throws a big counter combination but Golden scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Golden misses with a low kick. Anstey misses with a takedown attempt - Golden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Anstey blocks a head kick by Golden.

A counter left hand to the body from Anstey misses its target. Golden stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Anstey. Golden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anstey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Golden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Anstey tests Golden's chin there with a solid looking shot. Golden gets caught napping as Anstey dives in and scores a takedown. Golden manages to retain guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anstey with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anstey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Golden wants to sweep here but Anstey controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Golden working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Anstey. Golden has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Anstey throws a big right hand that misses. Golden preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Anstey missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anstey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Golden controls Anstey momentarily but Anstey frees himself. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Anstey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Anstey landing some decent shots from guard. Anstey with a nice head shot there. Anstey won't allow Golden to sweep him here. Anstey trying to control the position from guard on top but Golden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anstey connects with a couple of short punches. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Golden holds on and takes a little breather. Anstey trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Anstey is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anstey stopping the sweep attempt from Golden. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Golden controls Anstey momentarily but Anstey frees himself. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Anstey's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Anstey won't allow Golden to sweep him here. Golden looking to control.
Anstey trying to control but Golden is working from the bottom. Anstey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Anstey slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Anstey throwing strikes but missing. Golden not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A solid body kick from Anstey. Golden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Anstey takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Anstey was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Anstey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Golden. That did some damage! Golden looks to throw a body kick and Anstey counters with a lovely shot to the body. Golden throws a head kick but Anstey moves out of range.

Anstey is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Golden looks to land a combination. Anstey sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Golden on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Trey Golden has been cut. Anstey gets a takedown into half guard. Golden is staying active underneath Anstey, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ground and pound from Anstey. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Corwin Anstey dominated that round. The cut man is working on Trey Golden's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Anstey takes the fight into the clinch. Golden is pressed up against the cage. Anstey has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Golden down to the mat. Golden avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Golden stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Golden wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corwin Anstey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Golden throws a combination that misses and Anstey counters with a slapping leg kick. Golden throws a head kick that misses and Anstey counters with a body kick. Anstey clinches up with Golden and pushes him back against the cage. Golden's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick misses from Golden. Golden throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Anstey's head. Anstey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Golden pinned against the cage. Golden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anstey fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Golden checks it well. Anstey connects with a nice looking jab.

It looked like Anstey was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Golden. Golden displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Golden takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Golden takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Anstey fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Anstey steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Golden. That one must have hurt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Anstey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Golden sprawls well initially but Anstey persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Golden is looking for a sweep. Anstey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Golden keeping hold of Anstey's head, controlling as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anstey wants to take a breather but Golden is having none of it. Anstey is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Golden is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Anstey prevents Golden from improving his position. Anstey scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Golden won't allow Anstey to pass to mount. Anstey throwing shots but Golden is blocking nicely. Anstey seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Anstey prevents Golden from improving his position. Anstey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Golden with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Trey Golden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Golden lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anstey circles away quickly and effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anstey drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anstey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Golden is looking to sweep but instead, Anstey has passed into half guard.
Golden is trying to get back to full guard. Ground and pound from Anstey. Anstey throwing shots but Golden is blocking nicely. Golden controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Golden manages to get to full guard.
Anstey wants to control from the top but Golden keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Corwin Anstey will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Trey Golden's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Anstey shoots in but no luck this time. Golden looks to throw a body kick and Anstey counters with a shoot takedown. Golden fights it but they end up in guard. Anstey wants to control from the top but Golden keeps moving. Golden has control of Anstey's left arm, preventing Anstey from doing any damage. Anstey trying to control but Golden is working from the bottom. Golden looking for a sweep. Not yet Golden, not yet. Golden bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anstey's guard.

Golden throws a sloppy head kick and Anstey moves out of range easily. Anstey feinted with a counter takedown. Anstey fails to land the takedown. Golden with a jab. Anstey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Golden as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corwin Anstey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Golden throws a head kick but Anstey moves out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Anstey. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Anstey. Trey Golden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anstey shoots in for a double leg but Golden sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Anstey moves out of range of the body kick from Golden.

Anstey avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Golden throws a right and a left that both miss. Golden takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Golden gets cracked there but stands up to it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A combination from Golden does no damage. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anstey. Anstey shoots in for a takedown but Golden shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Anstey takes a kick to the side of the head. Anstey blocks a head kick by Golden.
Corwin Anstey is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Golden tries to bum rush Anstey with a series of wild strikes but Anstey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anstey ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Anstey lands a nice shot to the body.
Anstey decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Anstey winds up and cracks Golden with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Anstey lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Anstey is thwarting Golden's attempts to control the position. Still in half guard, Anstey seems content to control. Trey Golden has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Golden has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anstey is working away from the top position though. Anstey is taking a breather. Golden says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Anstey is looking to advance position but Golden won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Golden is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Golden regains half guard. Anstey is trying to control. Golden wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Golden wants to control but Anstey is keeping busy.
Anstey trying to control from half guard but Golden is working away. Corwin Anstey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Anstey lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anstey blocks the strikes from Golden.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Trey Golden. I think Anstey has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
