Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between J J Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dale bertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bertson has chosen down down as his entrance music. bertson has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! dale bertson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
bertson looks gassed!
Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch but bertson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Thompson feints and as bertson raises his hands in defense, Thompson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Thompson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Thompson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Thompson shoots for a takedown but bertson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

bertson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thompson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Thompson is working for a rear naked choke. bertson is not defending it well and Thompson has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! bertson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of bertson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
