Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rami Roisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rami Roisi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gilbert Day! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rami Roisi! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Day shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Roisi napping and manages to drive through into side control! Roisi is trying to control Day's posture but Day avoids it. Day really is a fat lump. Day is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Roisi has escaped the position, nice work there. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Day is trying to get an arm triangle but Roisi is defending well. A lull in the action here. Roisi is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here as Day stalls from top position. Roisi is trying to control Day's posture but Day avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day in side control, throwing shots but Roisi defends. Day working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Roisi is looking for a sweep. Day slows the pace down. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roisi tries to buck Day off but Day is having none of it. Day controlling the position. Roisi sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Day keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Day is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Roisi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Day. Day is breathing heavily. Roisi trying to control here.
Roisi pushes Day off looking to stand but Day dives back in and keeps control.
Roisi gets full guard. Day prevents Roisi from getting back to his feet. Day postures up.
Roisi is looking to stand up but Day isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Roisi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Day is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Roisi. Roisi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Day is fending him off so far but Roisi persists. Nope, Day circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Roisi. Day drives through with a takedown into Roisi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Day working some strikes from top position. Day is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Roisi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nice strikes from Roisi there. Day is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Day manages to escape and get back to his feet! Roisi keeps the fight on the outside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roisi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Day eats them both and turns towards Roisi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Gilbert Day has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roisi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Day moves into the clinch. Gilbert Day has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rami Roisi. Day tries to land knees in the clinch but Roisi avoids the damage to the body. Roisi wants a takedown but no success here.

Roisi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Day fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Roisi shoots in for a double leg but Day sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Roisi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Day avoids it really well and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gilbert Day dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gilbert Day's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nice takedown defense from Day. No joy for Roisi on that attempt. Roisi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Roisi tries for a takedown but Day sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Roisi tries to clinch up letting Day counter with a right hand. Roisi has his takedown stuffed and Day counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gilbert Day has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Roisi wants to pass the guard but Day is keeping the position. Roisi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Day's head. Roisi is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Roisi looking to sit in guard and control but Day gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Day missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Day stands up from Roisi's guard - Day perhaps looking for a knockout. Roisi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Day swats him away and circles back towards the center. Day is looking to counter the offense by Roisi and move into the clinch. Roisi tries a head kick but it misses.
Roisi tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Day counters with a single leg into guard. Roisi didn't expect that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Roisi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Day postures up in Roisi's guard and throws a big left but Roisi blocks it. Day postures up.
Day might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Day throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Roisi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Day's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Day is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Day postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roisi looking for a sweep. Not yet Roisi, not yet. Day is looking to work some ground and pound but Roisi has wrist control. Roisi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Day doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Day manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Roisi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Day gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Day postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Roisi is looking to stand up but Day isn't so interested in that idea. Day with a nice head shot there. Day is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roisi controls Day momentarily but Day frees himself. Day throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Roisi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Day doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Day manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Day stands up over Roisi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Roisi is trying to keep Day in close.
Day drops back looking for a leg! Roisi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Roisi manages to kick Day off! Day jumps back into Roisi's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Roisi is looking to stand up but Day isn't so interested in that idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Gilbert Day will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Gilbert Day's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Day is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Roisi. Day avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Day content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Roisi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Day wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can see the frustration on Roisi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Day connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Roisi some visible discomfort.
Roisi is looking to reverse the position. Day lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Roisi down.
Day scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Roisi to see if he's OK. Day taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Day is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Roisi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Day is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Roisi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Roisi is trying to get back to half guard. Roisi tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Roisi being controlled for a moment. Roisi is trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Roisi can't do much from the bottom here. Roisi tries to bench press Day off him but Day keeps the position. Day knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roisi on the ground. Roisi is still trying to improve position. You can see the frustration on Roisi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Day is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Roisi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Roisi manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Rami Roisi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gilbert Day is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Day taking some punishment here, with Roisi in his half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gilbert Day. Well Day has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
