Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raven Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Raven Austin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Austin scores with a three punch combo!
Fighter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Austin is fending him off so far but Fighter persists. Nope, Austin circles away and we're back to standing. Fighter looks gassed! Austin moves into range and connects with a jab. Raven Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Austin swinging wilding here.

Fighter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Austin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Austin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter misses with a takedown attempt and Austin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Austin connects with a nice short shot to Fighter's temple. Austin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Fighter with a poor takedown and Austin counters with a takedown into side control. Fighter takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Austin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fighter down.
Fighter regains half guard. Austin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Austin stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Austin misses with the combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Austin winds up and cracks Fighter with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fighter tries to get to full guard but Austin has control of the leg. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Austin tries to bum rush Fighter with a series of wild strikes but Fighter uses good footwork to avoid the assault. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fighter doesn't succeed with the takedown and Austin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Raven Austin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Austin has closed the distance and engaged Fighter in a clinch.

Austin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Austin has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fighter regains guard immediately. Fighter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Austin is one step ahead there. Austin gets to his feet. Fighter looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Austin motions for Fighter to come forward. Austin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Fighter fails with the takedown and Austin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fighter's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter is looking for a triangle but Austin pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fighter misses with a takedown and Austin counters with a one-two to the body. Austin tests Fighter's chin there with a solid looking shot. Fighter shoots and misses and Austin counters with a single leg into guard. Fighter didn't expect that. Austin is in close to Fighter's body, working some short punches and elbows. Fighter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Austin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Austin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Austin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Fighter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Austin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Austin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Austin darts in and clinches Fighter up against the cage. Austin breaks from the clinch.

Fighter is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Austin is surviving well by controlling Fighter's body position as best he can. Fighter working for a guillotine from mount but Austin is in no mood to give up. Austin is working to get back to half guard.
Fighter with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fighter goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Austin turns into him and now he's in Fighter's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Super Fighter. I think Fighter has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
