Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rueben Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiman Luqman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rueben Foreman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aiman Luqman!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luqman looks for the body kick but Foreman saw that one coming.

Foreman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Luqman!

Foreman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Luqman is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Foreman is controlling him well.
Foreman misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Foreman is trying to get an arm triangle but Luqman is defending well.

Foreman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Luqman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Luqman sneaks out the side door and pushes Foreman away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Luqman lands a high kick!


It looks like Rueben Foreman has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Luqman throws a sloppy head kick

and Foreman counters with a shoot takedown. Luqman fights it but they end up in guard.
Foreman connects with a couple of short punches.
Luqman wants to stand and escape but Foreman is having none of it.

Luqman is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Foreman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Luqman has momentary wrist control but Foreman slips an elbow through the middle.
Foreman lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Luqman wants to stand up but Foreman is controlling him.

Luqman has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Foreman is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Luqman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Some bone on bone action there as Foreman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Luqman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Foreman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Luqman.

Luqman throws a head kick that misses.
Foreman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Luqman.

Foreman drives through with a takedown into guard.
Foreman won't allow Luqman to get back to his feet.
Foreman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Luqman wants to stand and escape but Foreman is having none of it.

Foreman working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Luqman's head.
Luqman is looking to stand up but Foreman isn't so interested in that idea.

Luqman wants to stand and escape but Foreman is having none of it.
Foreman content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Foreman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Luqman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Foreman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Luqman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Foreman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luqman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Foreman is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rueben Foreman dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Nice defenses there by Foreman.
Foreman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Luqman can do to turn this around?
Foreman blocks a head kick by Luqman.
Foreman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Luqman scores with the left hand. Foreman knows he should have avoided that one.
Luqman throws a sloppy head kick and Foreman moves out of range easily.
Foreman shoots in for a double leg but Luqman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Luqman lands a big head kick that sends Foreman tumbling to the mat! Luqman takes a step backwards and waves Foreman back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Foreman is rocked!
Look low, kick high! Luqman uses the oldest trick in the book to send Foreman tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Luqman is absolutely delighted - when Foreman wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Aiman Luqman!
Aiman Luqman bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
