Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marco Ajax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riza Rakija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ajax might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Heavy Metal we will die!. Rakija is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rakija. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marco Ajax! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Riza Rakija! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rakija fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ajax manages to avoid it. We've been informed that Rakija has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Ajax shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rakija napping and manages to drive through into side control! Ajax thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. I wouldn't like to be where Rakija is right now. Ajax is trying to get an arm triangle but Rakija is defending well. Rakija stuck in half guard on the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ajax sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Rakija is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Rakija avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ajax. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ajax misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rakija tries to bench press Ajax off him but Ajax keeps the position. Ajax trying to control the action but Rakija is working from the bottom. Ajax lands a nice forearm strike. You can see the frustration on Rakija's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ajax working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rakija is trying to control Ajax's posture but Ajax avoids it. Rakija is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Ajax is staying active.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ajax is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rakija knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The ground and pound from Ajax seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Rakija struggling a bit here. Rakija is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Rakija takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ajax is looking to take a break and control but Rakija is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. An elbow from Ajax crashes against the mat.
Ajax laying and praying for a moment but Rakija takes advantage and regains half guard. Rakija is looking to control Ajax's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rakija avoid being mounted? Rakija is holding on to half guard well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ajax missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Ajax throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rakija is doing well to control the position and prevent Ajax from advancing to side control. Rakija wants to control but Ajax is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rakija controlling the position well. Ajax sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rakija defending well though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ajax is working for a submission of some sort.
Ajax is keen to just control but Rakija is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marco Ajax dominated that round. That's time! Ajax's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rakija steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ajax. Ajax shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Rakija is controlling Ajax's position as best he can from this difficult position. Ajax wants to control but Rakija is keeping him busy. The fighters are battling for position here. Rakija manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Ajax is in close to Rakija's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ajax postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rakija seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've been hearing that Ajax has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Rakija avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rakija not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rakija holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rakija keeping moving, preventing Ajax from controlling successfully. Ajax stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Rakija has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Ajax manages to get his head free but now Rakija has transitioned to an armbar! Ajax grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Rakija! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Riza Rakija! Our winner, Riza Rakija, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
