Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Matias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Raul Matias enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Shawn Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raul Matias! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Summer Carpenter and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jordan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Matias - the referee stops the clock and Jordan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Matias. Jordan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jordan misses with the combination.
Jordan stuffs the takedown attempt from Matias. Matias gets slowly back to his feet. Matias throws a nice outside leg kick. Jordan drives through with a takedown into Matias's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Jordan scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Jordan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Matias is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Jordan dives into side control.
Matias is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Matias being controlled for a moment. Jordan tries to advance to mount but Matias denies him. Jordan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan is looking to take a break and control but Matias is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Matias gets back to half guard. Matias preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Matias really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jordan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jordan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Matias with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jordan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Matias has managed to free his arm - good work. Matias wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Matias has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jordan steps over the head and cranks it - Matias is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jordan!
