Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Barath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
46 - 47 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Hughs!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barath gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A shot in the inside from Hughs.
Barath wants to break free but Hughs has control.
Hughs breaks the clinch.
Hughs is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Barath's half guard.
Barath is looking for a sweep. Hughs is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barath knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hughs on the ground.
Hughs takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Barath wants to improve his position but Hughs is controlling well.
Hughs lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hughs is nestled in close to Barath, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Barath is rocked!
Hughs working over Barath with some ground and pound. Barath looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Oh Barath is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barath on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Hughs is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Barath is hurt! He's hurt bad - Hughs fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Barath from any more punishment! Congratulations to Hughs! Great finish!
