Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stevie Franchise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franchise comes to the cage accompanied by Microphone Fiend- Rage Against the Machine. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stevie Franchise! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Colt! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colt blocks a head kick by Franchise.
Colt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Franchise blocking the ground and pound attempt from Colt. Colt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Colt not landing any meaningful shots this time. Colt looking for a submission but Franchise manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Franchise keeping moving, preventing Colt from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colt controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Colt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colt throws a strike but Franchise rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Colt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Franchise's guard. Franchise avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Colt won't allow Franchise to get back to his feet. Colt in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Colt throwing strikes but missing. Colt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Colt trying to control the position from guard on top but Franchise is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colt slips nicely into half guard. Colt is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Franchise avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Colt. Franchise keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Colt wants to control but Franchise is keeping him busy. Colt is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Franchise!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colt misses with a head shot. Colt content just to control the position here. Franchise holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Colt tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Colt throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Franchise because Colt loaded up on that one. Franchise is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Colt throwing strikes here but Franchise is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Colt lands with an overhand left. Colt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Franchise throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Colt misses with a hook. Franchise ducked under it nicely. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Franchise scoring well with a low kick there.
Colt connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Franchise momentarily.
Franchise throws a leg kick and Colt counters with a stiff right hand. Franchise swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Franchise misses the target. Stevie Franchise is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Franchise scores with a hook to the body. Colt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Colt throws a left and a right that both miss
and Franchise counters with a one-two to the body. Colt digs a good hook to Franchise's body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Colt dominated that round. That's time! Franchise's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Colt has his takedown stuffed and Franchise makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Franchise lands a nice hook to Colt's body. Colt takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Franchise showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Colt.

and Colt counters with a single leg into guard. Franchise didn't expect that. Colt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Franchise preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Colt keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Franchise's head. Colt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Franchise. Franchise keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Colt. Franchise lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Colt at a distance.
Franchise lunges at Colt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Colt's hand. Franchise looks to score with a jab to the body but Colt is just out of range. Stevie Franchise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Colt throws a looping overhand right but Franchise ducks down to avoid it. Stevie Franchise is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Colt lands with a right hand. Colt gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A slow jab from Colt misses its intended target. Franchise is looking to wear down Colt with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Franchise throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Franchise thows a left - swing and a miss! Colt swings for the body but Franchise moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Franchise throws a shot from downtown. Colt moves away and avoids it. Colt looks like he wants to counter punch here. Colt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Franchise. Franchise waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Colt. Colt scores with a jab. Franchise acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Colt moves away from the strike by Franchise. Franchise moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Colt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Franchise.
Franchise throws a body punch but Colt moves out of range. Franchise moves out of range of the strikes. Franchise ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Franchise ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Colt lands with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colt gets a double leg takedown into Franchise's guard. Franchise kicks Colt off and gets to his feet. Colt lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Franchise cracks the inside of Colt's front leg. Colt scores with a hook to the body. Franchise takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Colt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Franchise throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Franchise takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. No joy there for Colt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Franchise smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Nice straight punches there by Franchise. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Franchise. Colt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Franchise lands a nice hook to Colt's body. Colt takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Franchise lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Colt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Franchise. Colt misses with a straight left. Colt looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Franchise works the jab nicely. Colt clobbers Franchise with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Colt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Franchise misses with a straight left. Colt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Franchise on the side of the head. Colt lands the left hand. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Franchise throws a series of punches but Colt moves out of range. Colt slips under a jab. Colt throws an overhand right that lands on Franchise's shoulder, as Franchise tries to avoid the shot. Franchise throws a front kick aimed at Colt's knee but Colt avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stevie Franchise dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Franchise ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Franchise fires out a quick counter leg kick but Colt just manages to avoid it. A big left from Franchise misses. Colt is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Franchise with a body shot. Franchise throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Franchise misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Colt now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Colt needs to keep his hands up - Franchise had a free shot at his head there. Jab by Franchise. Franchise misses the shot to the body. Franchise lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Colt works Franchise's body with a nice hook. Franchise lands with a straight right. Colt didn't see that one coming. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. No luck for Colt with that takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Franchise throws a series of punches but Colt avoids them all with ease. Colt cracks Franchise with a good jab. Franchise on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Franchise with a nice cross. Franchise has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Colt finds it's way round the side to connect with Franchise's head. Franchise goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Franchise swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Colt. Colt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Colt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Colt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Franchise.
Colt looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Franchise tries to bum rush Colt with a series of wild strikes but Colt uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Colt moves out of range as Franchise strikes. Colt appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Franchise scores with a nice right hand.
Colt shoots in for a takedown but Franchise shows good takedown defense. Stevie Franchise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Colt. Colt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Franchise. Franchise misses with a hook. Colt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Franchise moves away. Franchise swings for the body but Colt moves out of range.
Colt sizes up Franchise with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Franchise connects with a good right hand that stumbles Colt. Colt circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Donk. Franchise catches Colt right on the button with a cross. Franchise throws a poor cross that misses
and Colt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Franchise throws an off balance right hand
and Colt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A big right from Franchise misses. Franchise throws a leg kick and Colt counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Franchise on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Colt shoots in looking for a takedown. Franchise tries to sprawl out of it but Colt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Franchise manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stevie Franchise is winning the standup battle so far. Colt takes a swing at Franchise's ribcage but misses. Franchise misses with a hook. Colt ducked under it nicely. Franchise works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Franchise throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Colt counters with a stiff right hand. The fighters circling - Franchise throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Colt looks to throw the jab but Franchise is out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Franchise misses the target. Franchise with a body punch. A glancing blow.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Franchise misses the body punch enabling Colt to counter with a crisp jab. The fighters circling - Franchise throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Franchise throws a hook but Colt blocks it. Colt drives through with a takedown into Franchise's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Ryan Colt has got the better of the ground game so far. Colt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Colt throws a big right hand that misses. Colt with a flurry of punches that miss. Colt is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
