Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cono McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Badger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGregor's entrance music is foggy dew. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badger looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and McGregor counters with a head kick.
McGregor swats away the attempt to clinch by Badger.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McGregor!
Badger dodges the punch combination from McGregor.
Badger misses with a double jab.
McGregor connects with a solid leg kick.
Badger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McGregor pinned against the cage. McGregor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cono McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Badger.
Badger closes this distance looking for a takedown but McGregor circles away.
McGregor lands a leg kick that knocks Badger off balance momentarily.
McGregor throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Badger fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McGregor, pushing him back against the cage.

McGregor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Badger circles away quickly and effectively.
Badger takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
McGregor throws a nice inside leg kick.
Badger takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Badger dives in for a single leg takedown but McGregor sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
No joy there for McGregor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGregor pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Badger back to the cage. McGregor follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Badger avoids a punch combination nicely.
McGregor lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGregor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

McGregor decides to stand back up. McGregor steps back and let's Badger get back to his feet.

Badger throws a nice looking combination but McGregor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Badger takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Badger gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
McGregor won't allow Badger to sweep him here.
McGregor controls from within his opponent's guard.

McGregor is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Badger sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Badger wants to get back to full guard.
McGregor is trying for a kimura here. Badger looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! McGregor wins by kimura!
