Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andy Barclay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veli Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barclay comes to the cage accompanied by I Am The Walrus. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Barclay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
35 - 70 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Veli Schwarzeneg! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwarzeneg drops his hands momentarily and Barclay takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Barclay lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Schwarzeneg has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Schwarzeneg fails to land the takedown. Barclay swats away the attempt to clinch by Schwarzeneg. Schwarzeneg with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Barclay to score with a decent uppercut. We've been told by Barclay's head coaches at 5 Star Spar Bazaar that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Barclay catches Schwarzeneg with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Schwarzeneg stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barclay. Barclay throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Nice body kick there by Barclay. Schwarzeneg shoots for a double leg takedown but Barclay sprawls well. He's pushed Schwarzeneg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A left lands for Barclay. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schwarzeneg misses with a takedown attempt - Barclay sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Andy Barclay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veli Schwarzeneg. Barclay fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Barclay lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwarzeneg has his takedown stuffed enabling Barclay to counter with a crisp jab. Schwarzeneg takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Schwarzeneg wants to clinch. Barclay looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Horrible takedown attempt by Schwarzeneg or perhaps it was just good defense by Barclay, which made it look bad. Barclay lands a head kick. Schwarzeneg smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Barclay scores with a push kick. Barclay lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Schwarzeneg tries to clinch but Barclay moves away and Barclay counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Schwarzeneg is rocked! Schwarzeneg leaves his chin hanging out and Barclay seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Schwarzeneg crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andy Barclay! After winning the bout, Andy Barclay thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
