Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elbert Roth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tajveer Thiara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tajveer Thiara is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elbert Roth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tajveer Thiara! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thiara looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Roth shoots in looking for a takedown. Thiara tries to sprawl out of it but Roth keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thiara manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Thiara drives through and clinches with Roth against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thiara wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Roth is defending well against a takedown attempt. Thiara leaning against his opponent.

Thiara is trying to pull guard but Roth has him pressed against the cage. Elbert Roth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tajveer Thiara. Roth tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Thiara avoids it. Thiara makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Thiara is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Roth can't fight it off and eventually Thiara manages to take the fight to the floor. Roth looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Roth is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thiara looking to sit in guard and control but Roth gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Roth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Roth slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Thiara controls Roth momentarily but Roth frees himself. Thiara looking to control but Roth passes into half guard.
Thiara is trying to maintain the position but Roth is very close to passing his half guard. Roth takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thiara trying to get back to full guard but Roth takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Roth tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Roth is standing up, even though he is in mount. Roth keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Thiara looks winded! Thiara moves into the clinch successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thiara tries to pull guard but Roth won't allow it.
Roth wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Roth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Roth drives through and clinches with Thiara against the cage.
Roth decides to pull guard. Roth wants to improve his position but instead Thiara has moved into half guard.
Roth manages to get to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Roth is looking for a triangle but Thiara pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Elbert Roth will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Roth drives through with a takedown into Thiara's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Roth gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Thiara misses with a two punch combination.
Roth blocks a head kick by Thiara.
Thiara fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Thiara lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thiara.
It looks like Elbert Roth has been cut. Nice takedown defense from Roth. No joy for Thiara on that attempt. Thiara is breathing heavily. Roth shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Roth stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Roth. Thiara pushes Roth away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Roth gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Roth stands up. Thiara displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roth. Roth shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Thiara manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Roth gets to his feet - Thiara follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roth manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Thiara on his heels. He'll look to pass Thiara's guard now, I'm sure. Roth stands up from Thiara's guard - Roth perhaps looking for a knockout. Roth shoots in for a takedown but Thiara shows good takedown defense. Thiara lands a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Roth feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Roth stopping the sweep attempt from Thiara. Thiara controls Roth momentarily but Roth frees himself. Thiara tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thiara wants to get back to his feet but Roth passes into half guard.
Thiara is trying to stand up here but Roth is controlling him well. Roth is controlling the pace.
Thiara is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Roth pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Roth stands up and beckons Thiara to join him on the feet. Thiara has managed to clinch.
Thiara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Thiara displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roth. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elbert Roth. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thiara shoots in for a takedown but Roth shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Roth is looking to counter the offense by Thiara and move into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Elbert Roth will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Elbert Roth's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Roth is in close to Thiara's body, working some short punches and elbows. Thiara takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Roth jumps guard and drags Thiara to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Roth has his foot on Thiara's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thiara works his way back into a safe position though. Thiara wants to stand but Roth has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Roth bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thiara's guard. Roth postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roth stands up and waves to Thiara to follow him. Roth shoots in and gets a takedown into Thiara's guard. Roth stands up and waves to Thiara to follow him. Thiara shoots in but Roth avoids the takedown attempt easily. Roth shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thiara as he avoids it easily. Thiara throws a fast counter high kick but Roth manages to duck under it in time. Thiara closes the distance and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thiara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Roth keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Roth swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Elbert Roth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tajveer Thiara. Thiara shoots for a double leg takedown but Roth sprawls well. He's pushed Thiara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. An attempted straight right counter from Roth misses the target. Roth shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Thiara is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Roth shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Roth was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Roth stands up and beckons Thiara to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Elbert Roth showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Roth, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
