Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Owen Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Duff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Owen Edwards! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Duff! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duff drives through with a takedown into Edwards's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Duff controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Edwards keeping moving, preventing Duff from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duff thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Edwards has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Duff has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duff is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Edwards can't fight it off and eventually Duff manages to take the fight to the floor. Edwards looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Edwards wants to sweep but no luck. Duff wants to control from the top but Edwards keeps moving. Duff working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Edwards preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Duff's corner is telling him to maintain position. Duff passes Edwards's left leg - he's now in half guard. Duff trying to control the action but Edwards is working from the bottom. Duff seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Edwards taking some punishment here, with Duff in his half guard. Duff is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Edwards doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Duff. Edwards is not content to let Duff control the position. Duff is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Duff has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Duff is working for a kimura but Edwards is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duff is figuring out what he wants to do next. Duff scoring with strikes to the body and head. Duff looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Duff seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duff lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Duff slips a nice elbow through Edwards's hands, connecting with Edwards's forehead. Duff works his way into side control. Duff tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Duff creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Duff is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Edwards is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Edwards takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Duff dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Duff is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Edwards. Duff stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duff wants it to stay on the feet. It seemed like Duff was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Duff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Duff manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Edwards on his heels. He'll look to pass Edwards's guard now, I'm sure. Edwards being controlled here, momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duff stands and throws Edwards's legs to the side, diving into side control. Edwards really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Duff has an Americana. Edwards didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Duff is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Duff hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
