The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro lands with a right hand.

It looks like Bem Grim has been cut.
Ribeiro tries to clinch but Grim is having none of it.
Ribeiro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Grim.
Grim wants to clinch up but Ribeiro keeps it at a distance.
Ribeiro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ribeiro throws a right hand that Grim ducks under and follows up with a left that Grim also avoids with ease.
Ribeiro throws a head kick but Grim moves out of range.
Grim is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Grim doesn't manage to clinch there - Ribeiro circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ribeiro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Grim moves in looking to clinch but Ribeiro pushes him off.

Grim decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Grim looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ribeiro with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ribeiro pushes Grim off looking to stand but Grim dives back in and keeps control.
Grim uses his free foot to push down on Ribeiro's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ribeiro.
Grim working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Grim lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Ribeiro wants to try and get back to his feet.

Ribeiro tries to hold on but Grim pushes him away.
