Heir comes to the cage accompanied by DMX - X Gon' Give It To Ya. Lawerson has chosen Talking Heads - Psycho Killer as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Heir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerry Lawerson!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heir drives through with a takedown into Lawerson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heir passes into half guard.
Lawerson wants to get back to his feet.
Heir not doing much here.
Lawerson tries to kick Heir off in order to stand up. Heir Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawerson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Heir has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Heir controlling the position from side mount.
Lawerson tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Heir controls the position from side control.
Lawerson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Heir has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Heir just content to control the position.

Heir stands up and beckons Lawerson to his feet.

Heir looking to score a takedown here. Lawerson is defending well but Heir drives through and ends up in Lawerson's guard.
Heir engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Heir stands and throws Lawerson's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Lawerson is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Heir really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Heir connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lawerson some visible discomfort.
Heir takes a little break here. Lawerson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Lawerson is trying to control Heir's posture but Heir avoids it.
Heir has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Heir with a couple of short strikes.

Heir controlling the position easily from mount.
Heir seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lawerson for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lawerson throwing hammer fists to the chest of Heir. What's that going to do exactly?
Heir tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lawerson tries to hold on but Heir pushes him away.
Heir lands with some strikes.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lawerson tries to lock up and control but Heir gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Heir sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean Heir dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Heir drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lawerson looking for a guillotine here but Heir defends easily.
Heir is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawerson is trying to keep Heir in close.
Lawerson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Heir has passed into side control.

Lawerson tries to improve position but can't.
Heir is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lawerson can do to turn this around?
A lull in the action here as Heir stalls from top position.
Lawerson tries to buck Heir off but Heir is having none of it.

Lawerson tries to escape back to his feet but Heir has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Lawerson's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Lawerson is tapping! Heir saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sean Heir!
Sean Heir seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
