Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ken De Dycke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ed Sheeran! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sheeran tries to close the distance and clinch but De Dycke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sheeran misses with a takedown attempt letting De Dycke counter with a right hand. Sheeran takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Sheeran bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. De Dycke stops Sheeran from passing to mount. De Dycke is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Dycke trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. De Dycke is looking to get back to his feet here but Sheeran is keeping cool and he's managed to take De Dycke's back. De Dycke is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Sheeran throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. De Dycke is trying to stand back up. Sheeran wants to control but De Dycke is keeping busy. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. De Dycke staying busy and making it hard for Sheeran to control. De Dycke fending off the submission attempt from Sheeran. Sheeran looks winded! De Dycke is trying to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ed Sheeran dominated that round. That's time! De Dycke's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
De Dycke keeps Sheeran at a distance using the push kick. De Dycke works the jab nicely. Sheeran tries to clinch and De Dycke counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sheeran closes the distance looking to clinch and De Dycke counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Sheeran takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Sheeran with a lazy takedown attempt and Sheeran takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sheeran throws a right and a left that both miss. De Dycke keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sheeran on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A punch lands to the side of Sheeran 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sheeran shoots and misses letting De Dycke counter with a right hand. Sheeran is breathing heavily. De Dycke scores with a head kick.
Sheeran looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. De Dycke fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sheeran on the side of the head. De Dycke lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by De Dycke. De Dycke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. De Dycke connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sheeran. Sheeran circles away out of range and recomposes himself. De Dycke is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Sheeran closes the distance but De Dycke moves to the side and De Dycke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sheeran walks into a stiff left hand from De Dycke. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice shot by De Dycke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sheeran walks into a straight right hand from De Dycke. Sheeran fails to land the takedown. Ken De Dycke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Sheeran. De Dycke fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. De Dycke's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and De Dycke duly obliges. De Dycke misses with a head kick.

Sheeran gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Ken De Dycke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. De Dycke fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. De Dycke throws out a powerful jab. Sheeran shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and De Dycke counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sheeran is defended easily by De Dycke. De Dycke chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Dycke tries a head kick but it misses.
Sheeran throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. De Dycke tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sheeran is in De Dycke's guard. De Dycke is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sheeran can do to turn this around? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sheeran throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sheeran trying to control the position from guard on top but De Dycke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sheeran trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. De Dycke keeping moving, preventing Sheeran from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken De Dycke dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
De Dycke scores with a one two! Sheeran had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sheeran decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sheeran trying to control the action but De Dycke is working from the bottom. Sheeran is pressing down on De Dycke's thigh, looking to free his foot. De Dycke is holding on for now. Ed Sheeran has got the better of the ground game so far. De Dycke is trying to stand back up but Sheeran is controlling him

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A solid body kick from De Dycke. Sheeran drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Sheeran tries for a takedown but De Dycke circles away easily and De Dycke counters with a right hand to the body. De Dycke connects with a crisp jab. De Dycke throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Sheeran ducks right into an uppercut from De Dycke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sheeran tries to grapple but his opponent circles and De Dycke counters with a nice body shot. De Dycke pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sheeran back to the cage. De Dycke follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. De Dycke lands a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! De Dycke misses with a body kick. Sheeran darts in looking for a takedown but De Dycke gets double underhooks and turns Sheeran into the cage. De Dycke connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Sheeran shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says De Dycke as he avoids it easily. Ken De Dycke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Sheeran. Sheeran tries for a takedown but De Dycke circles away easily and De Dycke counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Dycke lands a jab-cross combination. De Dycke stuffs the takedown attempt from Sheeran. Sheeran gets slowly back to his feet. De Dycke appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Sheeran looks to clinch and De Dycke counters with a stiff right hand. De Dycke gets caught napping as Sheeran dives in and scores a takedown. De Dycke manages to retain guard. Sheeran trying to control the position from guard on top but De Dycke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sheeran stands and throws De Dycke's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sheeran trying to control the position but De Dycke is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Dycke is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sheeran has just dragged him back down to the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Dycke tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. De Dycke knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sheeran on the ground. Sheeran trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ken De Dycke showed his dominance in that final round. I think De Dycke has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
