And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Irvin Ross!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sullivan drives through with a takedown into guard.

Sullivan stands up and waves to Ross to follow him.

Ross tries to keep at a distance but Sullivan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Sullivan successfully pulls guard.
Ross lands a couple of digs.
Ross trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Sullivan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Ross working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ross loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sullivan is controlling Ross's posture.
Ross must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sullivan pushes Ross off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
A head kick misses from Sullivan.
Sullivan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sullivan moves forwards but Ross connects with a nice, crisp jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sullivan misses with a head kick.
We've been hearing reports that Sullivan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ross looks to land a right hand but Sullivan moved out of range.

Sullivan has Ross up against the cage in a clinch.

Ross breaks the clinch.

Sullivan closes the distance and pushes Ross back into the cage.

Sullivan drops Ross with a big knee straight up the middle! Ross is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Ross is rocked!


It looks like Irvin Ross has been cut.

Sullivan has closed the distance and engaged Ross in a clinch.
Ross is still on wobbly legs! Can Sullivan finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ross's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ross seems to have recovered his senses.

Sullivan gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ross breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A big right from Ross misses.

Sullivan forces Ross back against the cage and clinches.

Ross pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sullivan grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Ross takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Sullivan cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Robert Sullivan!
