Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Evan Odds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kylar Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Evan Odds has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Evan Odds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kylar Sensei!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odds scores with a hook to the body. Sensei takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Sensei clinches.
Odds gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sensei.
Odds misses with a hook to the ribs.
Odds lands with a light punch inside.
Odds lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Odds scores with a nice hook to the head.
Odds throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Sensei is working for takedown but Odds is calmly controlling the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sensei drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sensei drops down looking for an ankle pick but Odds pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sensei blocks a jab.
And Sensei tries to counter it with a takedown but Odds pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Odds lands a nice shot that snaps Sensei's head back.
Odds misses with a hook to the body
and Sensei counters with a nice uppercut.
Odds missing with a left hand there. Sensei was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sensei avoids the body shot from Odds.
Odds keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Evan Odds is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Odds gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Odds lands a nice uppercut.
Odds manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Odds throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Senseis head.

Sensei avoids a wild elbow strike from Odds.
Odds tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Odds working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Sensei is trying to pull guard but Odds turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Sensei avoids a wild elbow strike from Odds.
Sensei swings wildly with an uppercut but Odds uses good head movement to avoid it.
Odds gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Sensei turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sensei manages to end up in side control.

Odds is trying to improve his position.
Odds knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sensei on the ground.

Sensei tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Odds is trying to get back to half guard.
Sensei lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Odds down.
Odds holds on to Sensei's head and controls the position momentarily.
You can see the frustration on Odds's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Odds is not content to let Sensei control the position.
Odds on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Odds tries to get out of the position.
Sensei might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Odds haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Sensei has his foot on Odds's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Odds works his way back into a safe position though.

Odds stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sensei swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Odds is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Odds slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sensei working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Odds doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Odds manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sensei working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Odds doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Odds manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Odds is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Sensei is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Odds is aware though and is defending well.

Sensei looking for a guillotine here but Odds defends easily.
Odds is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sensei is looking for a triangle but Odds pushes his legs off easily.
Odds slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Sensei is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Odds has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sensei is working away from the top position though.
Odds is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sensei can do to turn this around?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Odds pushes Sensei back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Sensei is trying to drag Odds to the mat but Odds just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Clinched against the cage, Odds lands a big elbow that drops Sensei! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Sensei is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evan Odds!
After winning the bout, Evan Odds thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
