Wendell comes to the cage accompanied by The Beards - Got Me a Beard. Matt Wendell has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matt Wendell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Momochi Hanzo!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wendell scores with a decent looking hook.
Hanzo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wendell momentarily.
Hanzo lands with a nice body punch.
Wendell tries to clinch up but Hanzo circles away and keeps his distance.
Wendell misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hanzo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hanzo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hanzo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wendell in his tracks.
Hanzo scores with a hook to the body. Wendell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wendell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wendell throws a right hand that misses
and Hanzo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hanzo misses with an uppercut. Wendell saw that one coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hanzo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wendell back to the cage. Hanzo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wendell is rocked!
Hanzo drops Wendell with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hanzo follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Momochi Hanzo!
Momochi Hanzo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
