Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darryl Fitzpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitzpatrick has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darryl Fitzpatrick!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzpatrick lands a left and a right that send Axe crashing to the mat, dazed. Fitzpatrick thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jon Axe has been cut.
Axe scores with a decent looking hook.
Axe fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Axe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fitzpatrick to score with a decent uppercut.
Axe is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Axe swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Fitzpatrick scores with a counter punch that sends Axe to the canvas! Fitzpatrick smells blood - he's punishing Axe with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Axe has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darryl Fitzpatrick!
Darryl Fitzpatrick gave a mention to Voodoo Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
