The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turpin connects with the punch.
Norton throws a hook but Turpin avoids it easily.
As Norton tries to get set, Turpin tries to push him back and clinch up but Norton manages to avoid the attempt.
Norton looks to throw the jab but Turpin is out of range.
Turpin was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Norton dodges the punch combination from Turpin.
Norton looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Norton misses with a hook.
Norton throws a looping overhand right but Turpin ducks down to avoid it.
Norton throws out a powerful jab.
Norton missing with a left hand there. Turpin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Norton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Turpin can pounce on him.

Norton misses with an uppercut. Turpin saw that one coming.
Turpin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

It looks like Scott Norton has been cut.
Norton sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Turpin counters with a crisp right hand that drops Norton! Turpin lets Norton back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Norton misses with an uppercut
and Turpin counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Norton out cold! What a finish! Turpin is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
