The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Danzig throws a series of punches but Rivera moves out of range.
Danzig stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Danzig wants it to stay on the feet.
Danzig scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Good exchange - Danzig coming out on top.
Rivera misses with a takedown attempt
and Danzig connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Glenn Danzig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mountain Rivera.
Danzig slaps away a takedown attempt from Rivera, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Danzig throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rivera stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Danzig counters with a straight that turns Rivera's legs to rubber! Danzig pushes forward with more strikes and Rivera goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
